Welcome Kanto into your world and discover how things can be different.
You could be forgiven for thinking you’ve met before, but if you look closer, you’ll find a custom built guitar with a new attitude and a number of solutions to old problems.
A New Design
The solid ash body is contoured on the top and back for comfort. The upper frets are easily reached thanks to the gentle contouring on the upper bout and a carved neck heel, and the easy-access output jack makes sure that you’ll never unplug accidentally by standing on your cord.

A Choice of Pickup Mountings
Scratch plate-loaded electrics, complete with custom hand wound pickups, are standard on the Kanto, make it possible to have multiple scratch plates with different options. Or go for direct mounted pickups for a modern, clean look.
Comfort
The 25 ยฝ” scale, 41mm nut, stainless steel frets and a rolled edge fingerboard help make a very comfortable playing experience.

Custom Hand Wound Pickups
Make your guitar truly yours with a set of custom wound pickups that do what you need them to do, to make the music only you can make.
Burman Guitars feature the best pickups from UK manufacturers like Bare Knuckle, Sunbear, Old Bones and Green.
Premium Woods
Start with premium hard woods of your choice – typically ash, alder, mahogany or poplar, with a maple neck and rosewood or maple fingerboard. If you go for a figured top, you can even have the body chambered to a target weight.

High Quality Hardware
Add high quality hardware (with either hard tail or tremolo) to make your Kanto perform its best, gig after gig.
Reinforced Neck
For the true custom, top shelf experience, opt for a carbon fibre reinforced neck. A strengthened neck stays in tune better and resists changes in humidity and temperature.

A Better Scale
If you want a more ergonomic experience and better string tension, go for a multi scale fingerboard. Not only is a multi scale neck better for detuning, it is also more ergonomic, keeping your fingers at a more comfortable angle as you move your hand up and down the neck.
A guitar with non-parallel frets may look odd, but players report it doesn’t require any change in technique or even a need to think about it. You may never go back to parallel frets!
Custom Finishes
Pick a colour – any colour! Choose from a solid colour top to show off the grain on the back, a stain to enhance the wood’s beauty, a stunning art finish, or something completely different.
