All kinds of things happen to guitars – let’s get your guitar repair sorted quickly so you can get back to making music.

Whether your guitar isn’t playing like it should, you need something upgraded or your friend just decapitated your Les Paul, let me know.
This Commodore bass had a new custom wound Sunbear pickup installed with a new mounting plate.
Wait a minute – you might not actually be a guitarist!
Maybe your daughter/son/friend/partner/sister/father or neighbour has a guitar that you want to sort out for them. No problem! We don’t have to talk that silly guitary geek-language. You don’t need to know a truss rod from a lightening rod or tell a PAF from a RAF. We’re all friends here!
This poor Les Paul lost it’s head in an accident.
Here it is, fully restored.

So whatever you might need – a setup, pickup replacement, a fret job or something a bit more major – drop me a line and let’s chat.
Dimebag Darrell Signature – this guitar needed a lot of work to get it to the level that its owner wanted. That meant a new Floyd Rose, new pickup, retouched artwork and new paint.
Extras:
Full clean – additional £35
Some venues aren’t too kind to guitars. I get that. So if you bring in your guitar that has seen cleaner days, I’ll dismantle as much as is necessary to remove dirt that will potentially get in the way of the electronics and other workings. You won’t believe it’s the same guitar.
- if your instrument has been living rough for a while, you can’t remember the last time it saw the light of day or it just looks like somebody used it to do the gardening, the cost may be a little higher. When you drop it off, we’ll talk.
Spot levelling – additional £25
Sometimes frets move due to moisture or poorly installed frets. If any fret is proud of the others, you’ll have fretbuzz issues. Spot levelling will take care of those rogue frets when a complete fret level isn’t necessary. If too many frets are out of line, I’ll let you know, because at that point it makes more sense just to level the whole fretboard.
Standard Floating Tremolo Tuneup – additional £45
Ok, we all know it’s really a vibrato, but let’s call it a tremolo for now. Whammy. Wiggle Stick. Mainly used to give a slight flutter to notes and chords, it can be a source of frustration for many players, but that’s usually because it’s not setup correctly. Get it done the right way and you’ll open up new musical possibilities, pulling up notes, bending down notes and returning to tune. Yes, in tune. It can be done!

Guitar repair prices will vary depending on complexity, condition of instrument, etc. For example, pickup swaps on a semi-acoustic are more time consuming than on a Telecaster-style guitar.
